A compelling account of Leeds United's 1989/90 season in which the team, rebuilt by Howard Wilkinson and led by skipper Gordon Strachan, swept aside the competition to propel themselves back into the top flight of English football. The season marked the end of many great careers (Mervyn Day, Ian Baird, and Peter Haddock to name a few) and the birth of others (David Batty, Chris Fairclough, and Gary Speed).

The film chronicles the life of Barbara Hutton, who was one of the richest American socialites but was never happy. Released in two versions, as a TV miniseries and TV movie, the project was based on a book by C. David Heymann.
Fawcett's performance earned her fifth Golden Globe Award nomination, for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV. The film won a Golden Globe Award for Best Miniseries or Television Film and three Emmy Awards, for Hairstyling, Makeup and Costume Design in a Miniseries or a Special.

A Very Romantic Story in the Very Big City
Pimsai went to San Francisco to find her boyfriend. She doesn't know that he went to go be a boy-toy for an old widow. He sold his apartment to John. Pimsai, thinking her boyfriend is still living there, goes to the apartment and sleeps in John's bed. Since she has no place to go or any contact with her boyfriend, John lets Pimsai stay and they become roomates. He takes her to work at a friend's restaurant. NWA The Great American Bash '87: War Games
This was the first use of the WarGames: The Match Beyond match conceived by Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes was on the winning side in both events along with the Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff and Paul Ellering. Koloff, Rhodes and J.J. Dillon sustained serious injuries in the first encounter. The Bash series took place in numerous venues all July long, starting in Landover, Maryland at the Capital Centre on July 2.
